L-4 spinal ganglion, L-5 spinal nerve, caudal limb of midgut, cranial limb of midgut, digit 2, edge of peritoneal cavity, endomeninx, ependymal layer, extravasated blood cells (artifact), genital tubercle, hindgut-rectum junction, ilium, mantle layer, marginal layer, median sacral vein, muscularis layer, notochord, parasympathetic neuroblasts in lateral pelvic wall, pelvic diaphragm, right and left umbilical arteries, sacral plexus (L-4 - S-3), sciatic nerve, superior mesenteric artery, thigh, tibial nerve, umbilical vein, urogenital sinus (pelvic portion), vitelline (omphalomesenteric) vein

A section through the pelvic portion of the urogenital sinus and the caudal edge of the peritoneal cavity.

Observe:
1. The pelvic portion of the urogenital sinus deep to the genital tubercle.
2. The junction of the hindgut and the rectum.
3. The sacral plexus and sciatic nerve coursing into the thigh.
4. Parasympathetic neuroblasts in the lateral pelvic wall.
