This bar graph shows that structures in the brain's striatal region are enlarged in methamphetamine abusers. Average volumes of the globus pallidus and putamen structures in the brain's striatal region are larger in men and women with a history of methamphetamine abuse than in men and women with no exposure to the drug. The data for each category is as follows:
