Observe:
1. The posterior intestinal portal where the gut no longer opens ventrally into the yolk sac cavity.
2. The umbilical veins along the lateral borders of the embryo.
3. The more lateral position of the dorsal aortas.
4. The pronephric ridge in the intermediate portion of the mesoderm.
