C-7 spinal ganglion, bare area of liver, dorsal meso-esophagus, edge of left horn of sinus venosus, edge of mesonephros, esophageal endoderm, interventricular groove, left ventricle, liver, middle lobar bud, oblique sinus, origin of dorsal intersegmental artery, pericardium, peritoneal cavity, phrenic nerve, placode, pleuroperitoneal membrane, postcardinal vein, primitive lung sac, primitive pleural cavity, radial nerve, right hepatocardiac vein, right ventricle (caudal edge), septum transversum, sympathetic trunk, upper lobar bud

A section through the pleuroperitoneal membrane and the cranial edge of the mesonephros.

Observe:
1. The primitive lung sac bulging into the primitive pleural cavity.
2. The separation of the primitive pleural and peritoneal cavities by the pleuroperitoneal membrane.
3. The termination of the phrenic nerves in the septum transversum.
4. The right hepatocardiac vein that joins the right sinus horn in Section 21.
5. The caudal edge of the right ventricle.
