2-cell embryo undergoing mitosis

TEM of a stage 2, 2-cell embryo in vitro 32 hours post-insemination. The cells are in mitosis. The chromosomes in the blastomere on the right is in anaphase. Small vacuoles are present in the peripheral cytoplasm. Sperm are present on the surface of the zona pellucida.
