Portion of the nucleus of an epiblast cell

High power TEM of a portion of the nucleus (N) of an epiblast cell of a stage 3 embryo in vitro, 145-170 hours post-insemination (original magnification x17,000). The Golgi complex (G) is located in the juxtanuclear region. Smooth surfaced vesicles and coated vesicles are present in the vicinity of the Golgi zones.
