	Low power view of implantation site

A general low-power view of tissues at the implantation site of the embryo. The endometrium, in the 22nd day of the menstrual cycle, shows marked physiologic edema. The glands are actively secretory except in their basal part. The superficial position of the embryo is evident at the top of the picture.
