Caudal end

The caudal end of the embryonic plate is seen in the middle of the section. The primordium of the cloacal membrane (Cl. M.) is represented by the blending of ectoderm and endoderm. A short distance above it lies the detached part of the allantoic duct (All. D.). Section 393.
