Surface view of implantation site

A surface view of the implantation site (photographed under fluid), showing the collapsed blastocyst attached to the endometrium. The opaque and rounded embryonic mass is within the chorionic cavity, the latter appearing as a dark ring within the larger opaque outline of the trophoblastic shell.
