What educators say about
The Biology of Prenatal Development DVD

This video production is a uniquely crafted portrayal of human embryofetal development that is completed by a succinct, but very accurate, description of the process. It is a joint effort that has utilized the expertise of many well-known professionals in the field of human growth and development. I have been invested in the field of perinatal pathology for nearly 17 years and I have not encountered a more widely useful, or expertly illustrated and annotated, video production. It is aimed at a nonprofessional and undergraduate audience, and, true to its mission, it is thoroughly understandable without suffering from over simplification. Thus, it is appropriate for education of mature, high school and college students and, also, for general health care education during pregnancy. However, a lot of its content and phenomenal imagery are of such high quality that it could also be considered for use in the education of a wide variety of professionals in the medical fields. It would lend itself well to introductory postgraduate coursework for medical, nursing, dental, and medical genetics students, as an easily viewed and integrated overview of human embryofetal development. I strongly endorse this product and believe it is a major contribution to general education in the field of prenatal development.
